WHAT CLUB PENGUIN SHOULD DO TO OUR PLAYERCARDS.

Last week, Club Penguin updated the playercard inventories so that newly purchased items were displayed at the top of our inventory unlike how it was before where our oldest items were placed at the top of our inventory. In my opinion, I found this update unhelpful. But why?

• Some of our most popular clothing items are the older items.
• You still have to click through pages and pages of items.

Since the update, our playercards have changed back in a "glitch". But was it really a glitch or was the update proving unpopular? Hmmm

There are other routes that Club Penguin should have taken to improve our playercard inventories. Here are some suggestions as to what should be done to our inventories :

• SAVED OUTFITS - This is actually a feature that some CPPS offer and it is a popular feature that CP itself does not yet offer. Many penguins have a favourite outfit or signature look so if we could save outfits, it would save time if we had these outfits saved instead of searching for each individual item.
• SCROLL FEATURE - This is a feature that I think would improve our inventories so much! It takes ages to click the arrows to find an item and it can cause lag if you click the arrows many times. We need to be able to scroll through the pages of items similar to how we find our friends in the friends list and find an igloo item. It would make finding clothing items so much quicker. This doesn't mean that the arrow clicking should be removed, we should have both features.

HALLOWEEN PARTY 2014 : EVERYTHING WE KNOW SO FAR

Next week Club Penguin will update and the annual Halloween Party will begin. Before the party begins, let's do a recap of EVERYTHING we know so far!!

Storyline :

It appears Gariwald will make a reappearance from 2012 in this party. The storyline also seems to reference Ghostbusters?? Here is the official summary...

It all starts when Gariwald returns for Halloween. Gariwald is a ghost investigator, and there has been rumours of paranormal events at the Puffle Hotel. During the party, the Puffle Hotel will transform into a MASSIVE Haunted House with 13 floors. Gariwald ends up being kidnapped by... GHOST PUFFLES. To stop them, you have to collect pieces of Gariwald's Ghost Catcher which are scattered around the Puffle Hotel. Inside the Puffle Hotel, there is a basement, pool and more!

Script :

The script shows that each floor to the hotel will have a task of some kind that will help continue the quest! There will be a maze, clues on the walls, secret messages, strange pumpkins etc. Click here to read through the script

Ghost Puffles :

It seems this year is very much the year of the puffle as we will be able to adopt a Ghost Puffle exclusively at this party. I wonder if, when we have adopted them, they will float next to our penguin sprite instead of walking along the ground?

Decorated Rooms :

The Puffle Hotel is the main focus of the party and will have a whopping 14 floors decorated!! The plaza will also be decorated the stage play will be changed for Night Of The Living Sled LIVE! We don't currently know if any other rooms on the island will be decorated but since the Halloween Party is a big annual event, it is likely more rooms on the island will be decorated. Night Of The Living Sled 1,2 and 3 will also PROBABLY return and that counts as 3 more decorated rooms, right? Take a look at the sneak peeks of rooms :

Mascot :

As confirmed by Polo Field, the mascot will be Gary! Gary was last the mascot at the 2012 Halloween Party.

Haunted Candies :

From this Club Penguin Times article, it appears the Haunted Candies from 2013 will also make a reappearance. This means that we can transform into Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires!!

I can't wait for this party, what about you??

CLUB PENGUIN BANK, CONFIRMED??

That's right! We may just be seeing a permanent Bank room coming our way soon in Club Penguin. If you remember, from the Marvel Takeover's, there was a Bank room. I actually loved this room and have been suggesting it for a while for it to come back in it's own room similar to a room like the Plaza and Town with other buildings. I actually submitted this idea twice to Club Penguin (I'll go more in depth in another post) and it looks like they actually listened! Take a look...

When you look at this, you may think Megg didn't mean anything by her comment. But she actually did go into details which included the name ("Great Penguin Bank") and roles you can carry out in the bank like depositing money and earning interest. When I emailed Club Penguin with this idea over the summer, these were even some of the things I suggested :)

 

So, could we be seeing a Bank join the rooms of Club Penguin, soon?  Signs point to yes! Perhaps it will look like a modified version of the one above from the Marvel Superhero Takeover parties? I like to think I came up with this idea but I'm sure more people suggested it too :)

HALLOWEEN PARTY 2014 : New Login Screen & GHOST PUFFLES!

It's the first of October and we are nearing closer to the Halloween Party. Tonight Club Penguin will update and we have some more pictures to share regarding the Halloween Party! Check them out :



Wow! The party looks so awesome!! If you didn't already know, the Puffle Hotel will be the main focus of the party. Here is what we know from the picture :

• It looks like the stormy night sky will also return this year. 
• We can see a new outfit which will probably be available when CP updates tonight
• A first look at the Puffle Hotel and Pet Shop (?) exterior
• Ghost Puffles CONFIRMED. These puffles will be available to adopt but might be exclusive just for the party.

The Ghost Puffles look very different from every previous puffle. They seem to be more evil looking. I wonder if, when we have adopted them, they will float next to our penguin sprite instead of walking along the ground?
